This tune must really be one we treasure. Even though it’s the 3rd time we have recorded it, it still feels new to us. We found the lyrics in a book from Ifig Troadeg, a famous singer from Trégor; for many years he has gathered loads of tunes and lyrics, including this lovely love song.

We met Gwendal first time we played in England in June 2014, only afterwards we discovered that he was an amazing singer - moreover an awesome gavotte singer. After guesting him on stage, we wanted to record again this song from our fist album (2012) with a more traditional flavour.

A comparison between the original song gathered from Léonie Lintanff, an old singer from Trégor, not far away from our place (from the generation of our grand-grand parents!), then the version we recorded for our album, and the voice alone from the album version, with no other effect (maybe a tiny reverb though!)
