MAROONED is a music project coming from Georgia. From the beginning, The love of listening to music naturally progressed into producing it. The project has made a creative musical pathway that ties a bridge between Experimental and Industrial techno with crafty soundscapes, focusing entirely on beat-driven work.

MAROONED represents 'Borders of known'(Tbilisi)  as a resident artist, resident DJ at CIRCUS club and is a family member of 'Khoros'(UK) label with his collaborative project - Marooned Solar Siblings.
His upcoming releases are planned for 'Voidance Berlin' and SHISHI Rec(Tbilisi).

SARIN is a Berlin based audio/visual and electronic music performance project with over a dozen releases over the last few years spanning vinyl, cassette & digital formats. 

These releases have been put out by labels such as Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, BITE,  B.F.E, Khemia, and his own X-IMG platform among others. 

His sound can be described as a blend of abrasive drum programming paired with minimal and catchy bass lines layered with dystopian cut-up style sampling of media detritus and the occasional vocal elements. Combined with his visual aesthetics of appropriation & degradation the project summons spirits of 80s industrial sounds & culture from which he draws much of his inspiration from and channels them into a syncopated dance of destruction.

[ CODEX EMPIRE ]

Since 2014, Codex Empire has built an international reputation for dark and intense techno productions and live shows. 

Mahk Rumbae - the British born, Vienna based producer behind Codex Empire - has been creating challenging experimental electronic music for more than 30 years working as one half of industrial/experimental band Konstruktivists as well as a number of varied solo and side-projects. 
combining this background in dark electronic music with heavy rhythmic elements makes Codex Empire an intense and simultaneously danceable experience both live and on record. 

Codex Empire has performed over 100 live shows across Europe, Japan, Korea and Canada, as well as numerous appearances in Berlin at Berghain, Tresor, Arena Club, Suicide Circus and Boiler Room. 

After releasing several well received EPs on aufnahme + wiedergabe, HORO, Sacred Court and Khemia Records, as well as numerous remixes and appearances on V/A compilations, Codex Empire released his full-length debut album ‘Slow Erosion’ in February 2019 on aufnahme + wiedergabe. This was followed by ‘Protected by Rage’ and ‘Broken by Fear’ in 2020. The latest EP release “Overneed” was released late 2023 on Rant & Rave. 2024 will bring both a new LP and EP and several new remixes.

NZM99 is a project that seems to have risen from the depths of the 90s rave scene, most notably of the early Frankfurt and Belgian tradition. 

Like few others, NZM99 knows how to revive those dark rolling bass walls of that time and pair them with fresh EBM arpeggios. 
The legacy of French legends such as Terence Fixmer, The Hacker or David Caretta is just as unmistakable as his inspiration from vintage equipment, but NZM99’s music is always informed - but never backward-looking. 

As a result, labels such as RAVE or DIE , KHOINIX and PERSEPHONIC SIRENS, quickly became aware of this unmistakable sound and were delighted with releases. NZM99 also runs his own label Tjalk Records, a heartfelt homage to the houseboat in Lyon he resides on. 

His powerful DJ and live sets have brought NZM99 to international stages as an ambassador for the non-carnivalesque rave revival.

[ KRIS BAHA ]

Much time has passed since the Queer Australian/Italian-Armenian, Kris Baha swapped the parched red earth and searing midday sun of the Australian landscape for the brutalist buildings, communist-era apartment blocks and slate-grey skies of East Berlin. Now firmly embedded in his adopted city, Baha has become known for a mutant trademark production style inspired by sun-baked hallucinatory visions of the past-future clandestine, concrete-clad industrial hum of the metropolis after dark. 

Kris is a fixture in Berlin’s Industrial EBM & club scene, playing at notable parties and venues such as Cocktail D’Amore, Tresor & Panorama bar, RSO and Urban Spree where he dives deep into the void, to deliver extended sets of otherworldly machine music driven by emotion and mood aswell as running his own live and dj focused party night, Wired. The same ethos applies to his performance-based live shows, which were initially inspired by his love for the pioneering gigs of the first industrial music era. 

When not channeling the musical spirits to inspire dancers, Baha can be found lurking in the shadows of his studio space. There, he performs remix duties for the likes of celebrated artists & bands such as Boy Harsher, Boys Noize, Kontravoid, Qual 
(Lebanon Hanover), Inhalt, Patriachy, Hercules & Love Affair, Red Axes +++ . There has also been a noted collaboration with fellow Aussie outcast Dreems as Die Orangen. Yet it’s his own skewed, mutant productions for which Baha is undoubtedly best known. Inhibiting their own sound space between industrial, EBM, wave, post punk, early ‘90s IDM and krautrock. 

In 2021 Kris released ‘Into The Dark’ , delving into the live music sensibility of Kris’s production skillset, coming full circle to his former songwriting background. ‘Into the Dark’ mirrors the feeling of late 80’s / 90’s musical transitional phases in the Industrial/ Wave scene and in some way is reflective of Kris’s current musical direction as he presents himself in a different shade of dark. 

In 2022 Kris was asked by Hercules & Love Affair to remix a single off their new album titled “Grace” featuring Budgie from Souxie and the banshees on drums. The remixes are scheduled to be released later in 2022 on major label BMG UK. Later in 2022 Kris was invited to tour with Boy Harsher for their European tour to promote their latest album & movie, “The Runner”. Followed by Kris’s own 26 show tour in the USA during October 22. 

Kris’s latest output starts this April 2023 in collaboration with his new band moniker, GHOSTS IN THE MACHIИE. GITM is a future sci-fi cyberwave inspired concept that is set in 2 timelines, a future looking back to the now and how we could have corrected our society before the AI take over and strip away our souls, becoming Ghosts In The Machine. The single, ‘Nothing is Real’ is a cyber body music odyssey about social media’s influences on society, priming us before the AI machines take over. 

To date, Kris has built a loyal fanbase of followers in the electronic music scene over the last 13 years from Australia, to Berlin and now beyond due to his extensive career bending the lines of Artistry.

Second Tension is a project by Stavros Tilkeridis, a Greek artist and DJ. Stavros started creating music back in the early nineties, with next to no access to the outside world. 

He started with tape loops, not too dissimilar to those by Pierre Schaffer, and got his hands on his first sampler, Mpc 2000xl, by the late nineties. Stavros was introduced to rave culture in the early two-thousands and experimented his way through them, using his music to search for a deeper, hidden meaning. 

He started Second Tension in 2016 as an attempt to capture a progressive spirit in electronic music, combining primitive and industrial aesthetics. With 2 EPs and an LP, Second Tension has been released on labels such as Persephonic Sirens, OSM Tapes, Clan Destine and Monolith.

[ VŪ ]

Vince Gagliardi, better known by his stage name Vū, is a music producer of ethnic electronic music and experimental dark techno from Berlin. His style has been compared to artists like Muslimgauze, Tzusing and Demdike Stare. 

He is also the founder of the label “Vūmantra Records”, co-founder of the label “Modern Bön” and creator of the audiovisual project “The Nent” (Cyclic Law), well-known for its impactful A∖V live performances. Vū ́s performances focus on an immersive experience creating endarkening rhythms for dystopic sub-cultures. His voice fuses with drum machines and is accompanied by live percussion, which pulls the audience into the present moment and creates a shamanic vibe. 

Some of Vū’s tracks have been released on Pact Infernal’s label "Altar", Borders of Known (GE), Dark Alchemy (UK), Voidance (DE), Elektro Tribe (DE), Furanum Records (DE), Area Z (FR) and more. 

In the past few years, Vū has performed live at clubs and festivals such as OHM Berlin, KitKatClub, About Blank, Mensch Meier ( with the Queer techno label SUBVERTED ), and Lunchmeat Festival 2020 ( see link below) , where he was the opening act for SOPHIE’s last ever performance.

[ YEARS OF DENIAL ]

Years of Denial is the project of French musician Jerome Tcherneyan, former times drummer of cult British band Piano Magic and music producer since 1997, and Czech performance & music artist, singer-songwriter & poet Barkosina Hanusova. Active since 2016, the duo has become known across the globe for their well-crafted sharp productions and electrifying live performances.

Utilizing hardware and a plethora of dub devices combined with Barkosina’s unmistakable vocals, the pair revisit the dark corners of post-punk, goth, new beat, EBM, industrial, and rave culture. Their live shows inject rhythmic beats and pulsating arpeggios with heavy electronics fused with a spacey psychedelic sonic treatment. The duo operates on the dance floor with a powerful performative representation creating an excursive, unforgettable experience. 

Well known for their fruitful discography, much of which is created inside the infamous Ark of Noise studios, the project's prolific output includes a variety of releases on Death & Leisure, Pinkman, and Khemia, to name a few, not to mention the front-runner 2xLP Suicide Disco (Veyl 2019), an extraordinary offering that set fire to dance floors everywhere and is also the name the duo coined to describe their sound. The release spawned a massive remix EP featuring reworks from Silent Servant, Orphx, Broken English Club, and Alexey Volkov.

In 2023 YOD releases Suicide Disco II (Veyl), a triumphant return, elevating their distinct sound and delivering 12 all-new tracks, which will also return them to the live stage to continue to captivate and further build on the project’s form and legacy.

Massive demonstrations have erupted in Tbilisi and other cities as a result of election falsification by the ruling party, the suspension of EU negotiations, anti-LGBTQ+ laws, authoritarian policies, and growing allegiance to the Kremlin. These protests have been met with violent crackdowns by riot police, including brutal assaults on journalists and widespread political repression.

More than 400 people have been arrested (age 15-60). 80% of them beaten and tortured in need of hospitalization. New laws further restrict freedom of peaceful expression during protest.

Hecate Legacy is an industrial techno project by Alex Nadiradze, an artist and DJ from Tbilisi. Having earned his stripes within the esteemed halls of KHIDI,  a household name in Tbilisis’s nightlife scene, Hecate Legacy commands the attention of its audience with a haunting synthesis of rugged industrial rhythms and melancholic primordial melodies. Hecate Legacy is a member of the Persephonic Sirens family and has been released on labels such as OSM Tapes and Liber Null Berlin.

But one angel, with a frown on their face, led me downward instead. That’s when my eyes snapped open—to the sound of machines beeping, tubes everywhere, and the urgent buzz of vital signs. Boyd Schidt is the techno project of Levan (Leon) Lolishvili, a key figure in Tbilisi’s electronic music scene since 2010. As one-half of Greenbeam & Leon (alongside Vulkanski) and a longtime resident of Club KHIDI, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the club’s distinctive sound.

Boyd Schidt’s music explores a wide spectrum of techno, seamlessly blending diverse influences into his signature style. Ex. Hale’s music is characterised by dark, atmospheric textures that is driven by a modern vision of club music. The project is focused on the deconstruction of common compositional standards with the addition of crushing rhythm structures that establishes the unusual framework of Ex.Hale’s subversive approach. 

With releases on Sonic Groove, Rudiment, and Voidance, in addition to soundtracks for fashion runways and design companies and to an increasing number of performances in clubs, museums and festivals around Europe, Ex.Hale has become a formidable force in electronic and experimental music.

Knaughty is a project by Kvachi, a multimedia artist born and raised in Tbilisi, resident DJ at KHIDI and co-founder of the LEASH queer party series. Kvachi joined the KHIDI family in 2017, initially as a graphic designer. Coming from a musical family, their connection to music began at an early age. The essence of Knaughty lies in its embrace of musical diversity.

Emanating from the Moroccan dry lands, Hedon is a project that seeks to channel and muster undiscovered frequencies inspired by desolate and noir tinged landscapes feeding off the north-african hypnotic rhythms and Moroccan unique aesthetics. 

The project strives to explore sonic territories through a conceptual lens it defines as (OOMO) — Object-Oriented Musical Ontology — a framework for composing music as a non-linear constellation of sonic objects, patterns, and cultural fragments.  Each track is less a song than a living structure — an evolving dialogue between chaos, memory and ancestry — unfolding like sonic ecosystems: chaotic, intuitive and deeply rooted in place and memory, seeking not to explain, but to evoke.

GAEL is a DJ, producer and composer from Dagestan, raised in Ukraine and currently based in Berlin.
                                                                 
Working along the outer edges of techno and experimental electronics, they craft sound with a sharp sense for texture, contrast, and form. Her releases span BITE Records, Flash Recordings, and Standard Deviation, with live and DJ performances at Berghain, Tresor, RSO, Nuits Sonores, and Opera Forward Festival—where she reinterpreted a classical piece in collaboration with Dekmantel and Dutch Opera.
Their alias shemovesshe opens another channel—live, tactile, and guitar-driven, it explores the space between vulnerability and rupture. Beyond the club context, GAEL has composed for documentaries and interdisciplinary art projects, always moving toward sound as a shape-shifting language. With roots in diverse genres and a practice informed by migration and multiplicity, their work resists containment. For GAEL, genre is not a structure to inhabit, but a surface to press against—shifting, porous, and always becoming.

A resolutely non-conformist approach to his productions has earned him a reputation as a true trailblazer in the realm of the underground, with releases and performances that span multiple genres and tempos, and have seen him booked at meccas like Berghain and Basement.
