Had the idea for this song stuck in my head for a while so I decided to record it and be done with it. Reminds me of the kind of bands I used to listen to when I was 17 when that whole emo crossover metal thing was just starting up.

Drums are through Reason 7. Guitars recorded with an Epiphone Les Paul with EMG 81 and 85 pickups. Bass is a little sketchy I know, this is down to it being recorded through a guitar amp rather than a bass amp.

Hi!

I'm Gwion. I play guitar and drums. I enjoy all kinds of music, mostly variations of rock and metal. My songwriting is very sporadic and tends to jump form one style to another but I guess it's all part of the creative process and a learning curve. 

Currently my recording setup consists of Reason 7 and Garageband for iPad so most of the songs I'll be uploading will be with programmed drums. Guitar wise I use Schecter and Epiphone through a Boss ME-80 Multi FX and Roland Cube 30 amp.

I mostly write for myself but do contribute a  bit to the bands I play in. My recording and mastering skills are very basic so  I appreciate any feedback and tips on how to improve my overall sound quality.
