Here's a little waltz I improvised and played years ago on my first accordion: a Russian Ilmera Bajan. 

This little tune appears in the "Cycling Central Asia" film made by two soundcloud friends: the Britisch cyclists Mary Thompson and Peter Root. I'm back with another iconic piece. This 'symphonic poem' composed by Strauss and inspired by philosopher Nietzche's novel of the same name, has since been popularized by Stanley Kubrick's 1968 film '2001: A Space Odyssey'. The piece's introduction, (translating to 'sunrise' in English), is particularly popular.
