Gyals In Notts Show w/ Aura - Swing Dash Radio 10/10/24

For the second edition of our Swing Dash show we had Milzy & Dirty Wavez in the studio for an hour of wobbly basslines and euphoric 4x4. 

Milzy, known for her multi genre high energy selections and seamless wobbly blends is also 1/2 of Psyked - one of the UKs fastest rising party starters. Her eclectic sets have seen her play across the country for the likes of Keep Hush, Singularity and many more.

Emerging this year out of South London, Dirty Wavez is bound by no genre. Best known for her selection of wobblers and big bassy beats, she has a deep love for radio and unique underground sounds but with fun being at her forefront !

The energy in the studio was unmatched and the compatibility between them was something special - we hope you enjoy their mix just as much as we did.

As a resident DJ for Jungyals n Gays and on Sigil Radio Birmingham for their show 'PEPPA & The People' - promoting inclusivity n underground music. Peppa brings love and unfiltered energy to every set!

The energy in this mix is high throughout, genre bending all the way through with the wickedest tactical and fun mixing. It was an absolute pleasure to have this raw of sunshine on the show !!!

Gyals In Notts Show w/ Peppa - Swing Dash Radio 12/12/24

For the fourth edition of our SDR show we went in with a killer Christmas special with Liz-zie b2b Aura!

Liz-zie is a killer multi genre selecta hailing from bolton. She infuses a wide range of both new and old underground sounds spanning from various genres such as Garage, House, Funky and many more. Although she is northern at heart, for the past many years before moving back home she has been making waves in London, having her become a resident for the NRG Cru family and Subtle Radio. 

If you aren't familiar with Liz-zie, you should be. Her passion is shown through her consistent effort with radio and guest mixes where you can listen back and see for yourself in her Soundcloud, which is found below.

This mix consists of pure bouncy energy, fluctuating between UK Garage, Funky & Bass sub genres. It is bound to get you moving!

Due to technical and travel issues GIN head honcho Aura holds down the first part of the mix with Liz-zie stepping in hard at around 20 mins in.

Gyals In Notts Show w/ Liz-zie b2b Aura - Swing Dash Radio 20/12/24

For the fifth edition of our Swing Dash show we had Gyals In Notts resident Stargirl & rising star Awedinary bring us an absolute killer 2 hours. Stargirl sets pace for the first 45 minutes, taking us through some percussive and baile flavours, into a big bad 30 min power b2b of funky, with Awedinary stepping in hard ending - on a darker tone of dubstep, grime and techno.

Since her first set with us at our launch in 2023, Leeds based Stargirl (FKA Erin Hanna) has been making waves across the country with her multi-genre, captivating sets ~ heavily influenced by UK underground sounds. Our northern queen infuses predominantly early dubstep, grime & dark garage; but having returned from South America last year, she has since been drawn to Latin American sounds 

Having only been DJing for little over a year, Manchester based, derby born Awwedinary has quickly become renowned for their versatility and ability to connect with different crowds while remaining unmistakably, Awedinary. Heavily influenced by her midlands background, her multi-skilled sound is shown through bassline to grime to punk - whilst creating a unique journey through subcultures and exciting blends along the way. Having already graced Manchester's most iconic booths from The White Hotel to The DBA and having a residency on the North's most exciting new community station; Crop Radio.

The way these two seamlessly blend through genres is so captivating. The energy and love in the studio was so pure and exciting which you can hear this within the mix.

Gyals In Notts Show w/ Stargirl + Awedinary - Swing Dash Radio 17/01/25

For the sixth edition of our Swing Dash show we had Touré take us through a journey of wiggy electronic sounds, consisting of euphoric house and electro.

Originally from Manchester but currently residing in Nottingham, Touré has rose to be one of most refreshing selectas in the city. Having only been DJing under 2 years, her seamless blends of an array of genres (such as house & electro) and energising atmosphere when playing has seen her support some of the likes of The Ghost, Bakey and Dual Monitor. 

This mix is jam packed with groovers and a perfect listener now the brighter days are on the rise. It is guaranteed to uplift your day as it did ours whilst it was recorded in the Swing Dash Studio so be sure to delve into it!
