Technical Itch vs Dom & Roland - Tribute Mix Part 1

Originally appearing on the Palm Pictures label back in 2000, "The 6ixth Session" was my best selling mix CD. It features Konflict's super awesome "The Messiah" which is one of my favorite drum and bass anthems of all time. The amazing graphic design is by Akira Takahashi and showcases 3D modeling of my head from Rene Garcia aka "Hyperform" who went on to do 3D work for the Matrix and Transformers movies. Suffice it to say, I have always been extremely proud of this particular work. It really helped push drum and bass music to a larger audience in North America.

I got a little something I'd like to lay on y'all... Another classic LTJ set from the archives. Soulful, intelligent n' chilled DnB that takes me straight back to the days of Speed. Somehow I missed this set back in the day and only heard it for the first time a few days ago. LTJ Bukem presents The Rebirth (1996) Intelligent DnB (no MC)

Finally decided to record an all Optical set. Matt Quinn brother of Matrix & in my opinion the music he created from '96 - '00 is some of the most technical and enjoyable of all drumnbass I have listened to. No disrespect to Ed Rush, one of my favourite producers & of course a pioneer of what we call Techstep! But the amount of Optical 12's & remixes I own are greater in numbers. The mix cut short unexpectedly so I will revisit with a part 2 very soon!! In a way I'm glad, if I mixed any longer I would have collapsed from exhaustion. Thankyou for releasing these tracks over the years Matt..
