Black Samurai

Born from the ashes of their old bands, these musicians helped pave ways in the Canadian stoner rock scene.  Members: AL the Yeti Bones (legendary doom bands: Georgian Skull, The Mighty Nimbus, Mister Bones), Sean De Faria, Dave (Blood Runs Cold), Sean Hamilton, Adam (Georgian Skull) and Brodie Stevenson have decided to form a pure rock and roll band that dances on the edge of their stoner rock roots. When Gypsy Chief Goliath officially became a band, the vibe was electric. The band was formed in 2009 from the collapse of Georgian Skull which were fresh off a signing on North America's largest Major Independent record label: Entertainment ONE.  They are tight with 70's laced grooves, integrated jazz rhythms, blistering solos, and harmonies the likes of which only Thin Lizzy could inspire. After being a band officially for three years, the band has already performed with some of the biggest acts in their genre, ie...Cancer Bats, Blood Ceremony, Sons of Otis, Bison BC, Barnburner, Fiftywatthead, Kill Devil Hill and Corrosion of Conformity, to name a few. Since the release of their debut album "Its A Walk in the Mist", Gypsy Chief Goliath have been described by fans and critics a like as being RAW and the real deal. This is a group that is made up of, perseverance, power, experience, and most of all drive. This could be your favorite band ever.
