Nomadic Rhapsody

Born On Road return with another great FREE release, this time from dubwize breaks master Jinx In Dub! For this release Jinx In Dub teams up with MC Turner from Prague.

High and Low kicks off with a slow skank before the voice of Turner starts to creep into to range, everything cuts back before the bass drops and the journey begins. We’re treated to some amazing horns from the well known Sheffield reggae act Bison and a very dubby drop. As you would expect from Jinx In Dub he masters a great drum work out which would set off any dance floor off.

As if that wasn’t enough we have also commissioned two killer remixes from Jungle dons and some of Born On Road’s founders, Gold Dubs & Aries.

Gold Dubs drops a great 140BPM dance floor jungle rework with chopped up amens & chest shattering 808s while Aries ups the tempo to 175BPM and gives it his dubwise midas touch rounding this package off nicely!

Slamboree is a live band with a Smörgåsbord of circus performers, daredevils and entertainers. We take each show as it comes, assembling a different crew from our collective for each show and every gig is very different to the last. 

Musically we fuse bass-driven beats with live orchestra, guitars, percussion, loops, visuals, brass, accordian, pyrotechnics & circus. The genres bounce around breakbeat, dubstep, drum & bass, dub & electro swing fused with balkan, folk, and 'gypsy' flavours... all original & all live. 

Within this very first year together we've been fortunate enough to perform our live shows at some amazing places such as Glastonbury Festival, Electric Picnic, Boomtown, Shambala, Beatherder, Kendal Calling and the River Thames in London. During this time our army has grown integrating Happy Slap Boutique www.facebook.com/happyslapboutique Surefire Circus www.facebook.com/SurefireCircusTheatre along with any local maniacs who want to get involved.
