The LOTUS company is Areia’s leading manufacturer of cybernetics and neurotics. Its origins remain unknown, and its purpose kept hidden. Many have attempted to infiltrate what lies behind the invisible shield, but with little success. Rumour has it that they are creating an army, but all of this is speculation with very little evidence. Only “Ultek” has been released.

LOTUS

As Viper continues to infiltrate LOTUS, she finds a sealed door in the back end of the building. Using a modified biometric print, Viper enters into a tight passageway, with reference to a device known only as the "rumination machine". As Viper travels further into the realm of the rumination machine, projectors show what it does and how it works; small microchips are developed and subjected to the machine, being used as brain implants amongst society to intrude their thoughts. Now understanding the end game of LOTUS, the question still remains: What is the target?

The Siren's Call - Single

The Siren's Call

"With the rise of LOTUS, and the society of Ultek being born, the next step is to develop this society. A society in which those at the top have full control, the citizens lack the freedom they so desire. A warning from LOTUS; A new government is under construction."

The cyberpunk style has been a go to style of mine for a few years, conceptualised by my love for futuristic and dark themes. The aim of these already released tracks, WIPs and IDs is to create a new world in my head, with lore attached to each release. Though I am not exclusively a cyberpunk producer, it is the main direction for the GYZA project. With one EP released in 2024, some filler tracks, and a collab album in the works for late 2025, "Nexum" represents my interpretation of a dystopian cyberpunk world, and I'm here to take you on the journey. See you all in 2025!

As Ultek starts to take shape, LOTUS focuses their attention on their largest project, simply known as "The District". The idea? Gather unwilling citizens to become part of Ultek, and ultimately whatever LOTUS has in store for them. As per The Echo Prinicple, no one leaves, with the Scanlock always monitoring everyone within the vicinity. With this under control, LOTUS may focus on the next step: Introducing their government.

The District

The District is becoming more and more populated, and the unwilling citizens more and more frustrated. One Ultekian, Rana (Ultekian Name: Skylark), and a few others tried to escape, breaking the first rule of The Echo Principle. The mission proved unsuccessful. This is the story of the aftermath of Skylark's escape attempt, and the first introduction of The Parallel Matrix.
