Sabo and his record label Sol Selectas embark 2024 with the fifth edition of the 'Global Entry' compilation, which features 10 organic house tracks with Afro rhythms, melodic grooves and enchanting melodies.

The release features unreleased original tracks from Sol Selectas favourites such as German Brigante, alongside KÖNI's new remix of a classic, and record label debuts from the likes of Gionist and Sapoz.

Global Entry is an invigorating concept that helps lift our spirits and warm our hearts in these cold winter months, as each of the tracks have a feel-good energy that helps us get the new year off to a positive start.

In total, the release includes artists with origins in 12 different countries and lyrics sung or spoken in various languages, as the release embraces Sol Selectas love of different world cultures, and the joy of diversity.

All the artists who feature on this release include, Sabo, Matanza, Safar (FR), German Brigante, A X L, G.O.D.A., Memo Rex, Joe Pea, Djolée, Ayala (IT), Ruskar, Atlantis, Anza, LITCHI, Gionist and Sapoz. Some of the tracks are solo productions, where others are collaborative contributions.

Collectively, the artists on this release boast individual releases on other prestigious record labels such as Stil Vor Talent, MoBlack Records, Monaberry, Bar 25, Rebirth and many others of equal note.

The artwork by Helia Jamali draws us into a parallel dimension of sound, where positive intentions are the only thing you need for a ticket to enter.

It all started with a simple Handpan recording...
Its sound sparked something deep inside me. Then came the Afro-house style kicks and percussions, building the pulse of the track.
With my lovely PSR Santana electric guitar, I added some ambient tones, a floating space between earth and sky.
Finally, the soulful Persian Kamanche joined in, bringing the spirit of the East into this modern blend.
That’s how Echo of Us was born, the echo of all of us, in a world where borders are fading.

گاهی موسیقی از برنامه و ایده شروع نمی‌شه، از یک لحظه شروع می‌شه.
یه روز صمیمی‌ترین هم‌راهم یک هنگ‌درام آورد به استودیوی من در دوسلدورف…
صداش و وجودش فضا رو پر کرد، انگار نوری وارد اتاق شد.
با Neumann TLM 102-و Avalon Sp 737 preamp ضبطش کردم، بعد چند کیک و پرکاشن آفروهاوس ساختم و کار جوون گرفت.
بعد با گیتار مورد علاقم PSR Santana چند لایه اتمسفریک اضافه کردم، و فضای کار رویایی‌تر شد.
اما جادو وقتی اتفاق افتاد که حسین کاشف با کمانچه‌اش اومد.
با هم خندیدیم، گپ زدیم، او نواخت و من ضبط کردم…
یه قطعه که نه فقط از صدا، بلکه از احساس و دوستی ساخته شد.

For the 27th JEUDI issue let’s welcome back one of the label headhonchos Doctor Dru. The “Savannah” EP is uniting his past as a drummer and his feel for hooky, layered arpeggios in a perfect manner. Dru’s tracks are always welcomed sureshots on the foor. His last contribution “The Pattern” stirred up the summer in Ibiza in 2015 and was played to death by major league artists like Solomun or Nic Fanciulli. This year his infamous remixes of D-nox & Beckers “Serenade” on JEUDI , Nico Stojans “BLUE HOUR” and Sailor &I’s “Letters” stirred up the festivals and foors around the world. We are sure this release will fnd his way in the playlist of many DJs as well.

The “Savannah” leads you in the wide of the african steppe merging multi layered arpish melodies into one fne percussion driven hypnotizing tune. Of course with never missing the hands up moment.

“Praerie” is featuring a little darker atmosphere but not less percussion driven. You’ll fnd Dru’s signature drone with trancy melody interjections. But the breakdown is what made the tracks name. Inspired by the west coast synth melodies of the late 70’s it comes suprisingly and with just the right power to make the crowd freak out.
