So every now and then there's a song that turns me into a six year old, just a super embarrassing giggling puddle of happiness, and makes me want to go roll around in a park and eat popsicles and stuff. "Rather Be" is that song. Couldn't help but want to remix it, but it took me awhile to figure out how to treat a song I think is pretty much perfect. About 1000 weird noises and squawks later, really psyched with how it turned out... Enjoy!

so this is a remix I did for the lovely Phoebe Ryan - the original is such a beautiful, uplifting thing, but it took me awhile to wrap my head around what to do with it. so i closed my eyes, took some deep breaths, lit some candles, said some voodoo chants etc etc, and boom the remix was done

but actually this was one of the smoothest, least bang my head against the keyboard remixes i've ever done. it's a bit different than a lot of my other stuff, but everything just flowed super well when i was making it and i'm really happy with how it came out, so ENJOY!! and keep an eye out, news about next original tune coming soon!

Flare is finally here! Heavily inspired by some of my older pieces (Spark for example) because I absolutely love working on this type of music. If I ever got into live shows and stuff in the future, this is the type of stuff I'd play. Not saying that I will, but you know what I mean :D
