You said it's hardware based track, but back then when it was released I remember it was a demo for some early soft-synth. Seems like I'm wrong, so tell me please what hardware did you use? I love this track so much.

When Zoom suggested the idea of doing a breakdown reel, I figured we could either use the original track (which wouldn't have fit), some other track (which is kinda lame), or I can take a crack at doing a remix, which is something I really enjoy doing; I figured since most breakdown reels tend to have music with this kind of downtempo contemplative vibe, I went with this direction and it turned into a lot of fun.

(Yes I considered calling it Animatrix edit, shut up.)

Commodore 64 remix of Jeroen Tel's SID song called "Thats the way it is". Turned into a warm summer edition released at SlayRadio Arok C64 SID Remix competition 2020. It was entry nr 33 out of 35, and got a final 14th spot in the compo. Hope you all like this modern take of a classic SID that pushed me into doing music for the demoscene for years and more years to come :) /Magnar
