This is the music conversation with me as a pianist and me as a bassist. This time I recorded raw contrabass sound for the first time.

凍るような季節に生命が宿る。そして北風の中、最初の声が響いた。

The life is born even in the cold season. And the first cry echoed in the north wind.

The First Cry In The North Wind

I portrayed “Horses” running through the vast land.

野生の馬が広大な大地を走り抜ける曲を作りました。

Horses

Since I moved to little town here in Hokkaido, I have a great friend. Her name is “HANA”, so gentle horse.
Our family came to like her so much and used to go to meet her place where she lives in.
I composed this tune for her.

私たち家族が北海道の小さなこの町に引っ越してから、“はなちゃん”という素敵な友達が出来ました。彼女はとても優しい馬です。
私たち家族は、全員彼女のことが大好きになり、彼女の住んでいる場所に遊びに行きました。
私はこの曲を彼女のために作りました。

HANA

I portrayed the “Timber Yard”. There are some timberyards in my town. I feel like I can hear various sounds from there.

“材木置き場”を曲に表現してみました。私の住む町にはいくつかの材木置き場がありますが、ここからは、様々な音が聞こえてくるような気がします。

I portrayed the “Something” that I can't describe in words. I don't know what this is. 

言葉にできない”何か”を表現しています。自分でも何かわかりません。

Something

We can‘t control the world. There are so much things that we can’t understand. I portrayed the complexity of the world.

我々は世界をコントロールできない。なぜならこの世の中にはあまりにも多くの知られざる真実があるから。この世界の複雑さを曲にしました。

Paradox

This is experimental recording with the contrabass. First, I recorded the contrabass freely and overdubbed others.

コントラバスとの実験的な録音です。はじめにコントラバスを自由に演奏し、他の音を録音しています。

“Daisetsu” is splendid mountains in Hokkaido. I portrayed it with awe.

“大雪山”は北海道の素晴らしい山々です。畏敬の念を込めて作曲しました。
