(circa 2001) I had this dream that I was sitting on a beach on some tropical island and I was smoking a nice juicy biscuit, when suddenly there was a swarm of soldiers, armed to the teeth, started coming out of the water and shooting anything in sight including me. . Well anyways that dream gave me enough inspiration to write this little ditty. So, I hope you enjoy it.

Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT)  A.K.A. Shock Therapy is recommended as an initial treatment for suicidal depression . It is more effective than alternate treatments for severe depression and its rapid onset of action reportedly results in a reduction in the immediate risk of suicide . ECT is also an important treatment option in some bipolar patients but there is conflicting information whether it leads to acceleration of cycle frequency . Studies have shown a lower incidence of suicide among depressed patients treated with ECT as compared with other treatment modalities . ECT may also lower mortality and suicide risks in schizoaffective patients, however, the results of another study showed the treatment modality had little relationship with subsequent mortality including suicide.
