With an anticipated Room 1 debut on the horizon, we invited shining Glasgow techno talent, Frazi.er to create 019 of the fabric podcast. Hailing from Scotland, Frazi.er exploded onto the local scene and far beyond ever since, with his experience-focused club nights being one of the most in-demand in his home country.

Throughout his detailed and explosive session for us, Frazi.er demonstrates clearly his unique and highly sought-after style. With a consistent flow focused on uncompromising, rave-orientated, driving sonics, 019 is an energetic, fast-paced, and at times highly euphoric, addition to our ongoing podcast series.

When the pandemic hit, Frankfurt-born DJ and producer Julien Bracht decided to move his studio to Spain so he had a space “full of concentration and isolation”. Having previously been making music inBerlin, the shift was a welcome reset. “It was so crazy that I just needed to run out of it for a moment,” Julien says. Then, out of the blue, Julien was asked to remix a track by the Canadian electro-pop artist Grimes for the ‘Rave Edition’ of her album ‘Miss Anthropocene’. Julien’s dark and brooding 10-minute transformation of ‘My Name Is Dark’ introduced him to an entirely new audience and has racked up more than 420,000 streams on Spotify. Creating it turned out to be influential for Julien, as it provided the catalyst and confidence for him to restart his solo project and focus on it fully “in a more serious way”.
