At Sarnath’s plain 
The truth was said
The path to life 
Beyond the dead

Or demon dire
Can halt this Wheel 
Or still its fire

And in the heart 
Of Kondañña bright

We arrive naked on a spinning rock and leave it naked again, but in between we exhaust ourselves trying to own pieces of a world that was never really ours. Philosophers have long pointed out that property is, in the end, a legal and mental construct, not something the soul can actually hold.

​Almost Always There – On a Rock, a Deep Space Dub Journey drifts through that paradox: a humanoid species obsessed with ownership, streaming sounds it does not possess, clinging to things on a planet it can never keep. On this hurtling rock in space, the only constant is the journey itself – and even this song is just passing through your hands.
