With over 20 years of experience in the music industry he is a strong name in the scene. His love for early warp, Metalheadz, Metroplex, Novamute, Sam and Downwards etc. can still be heard resoundingly clear in the strength and versatility of his productions and sets. the future will see Ford continue to play out and release on labels that share like-minded affiliation and roots in the electornic music community.

I recently recorded a 1 hour mix for Diamondstein's brilliant Night Shift NTS mix series which was aired on October 25th. Inspired by the title and concept, I wanted to build a small narrative, from the moment one walks home from work after their night shift, to slowly being pulled down the rabbit hole, in and of consciousness :)

It was a pleasure to dig deep and dive into more ambient d&b, ambient techno vibes, so don’t expect anything banging, though I hope you enjoy the trip 🖤

The Warsaw-born, Berlin-based artist has honed her craft from Europe to India and beyond, both as a DJ and as founder and curator of SFORA, an intimate festival in the Polish wilderness which takes place in June. Melting moody electro with groovy techno, breakbeat with 4x4 rhythms or smashing a techno set spiced up with acid, breaks, bass, punk, 2 step, and D’n’B, the unexpected is what you can expect and her sets always have a unique touch and fresh dance floor energy. We hosted her debut at Tresor earlier this year and today we're thrilled to host this eclectic mix in our podcast series.

Salty DJ is one to watch. He’s a Berlin-based vinyl head and resident of the Shockwerk collective whose parties have been causing a stir in the southern half of Germany. This new kid on the block is wasting no time getting out there, with notable performances at Weltspiele, Tresor, Mala Junta, and Kulør’s label night at Berghain. His sound is indicative of a particularly defined social current rippling through music at the moment, a re-remembering and reconfiguration of the experience of youth in the 90s and parallels found on dancefloors today: soundtracked by plenty of the decade’s finest techno and trance-leaning frequencies, and plenty of shades there-between. His slamming beats barely leave enough space for you to catch a breath. Skittish and quick as a flash, there’s little doubt Salty DJ’s wax wizardry holds great promise.
