Elise Massoni is a French DJ and producer based in Paris. She has released a number of successful EPs, has been a member of several outstanding compilations, and has received recognition from many artists. Since 2018 he has been a resident of Rinse France, with his monthly program. As one of those versatile selectors, unafraid of dramatic shifts in rhythm and genre, skillfully navigating between fast techno, IDM, acid, ghetto and electro, Elisa has made notable appearances in famous clubs as well as at festivals in Europe such as Kaiku (Helsinki) , Rex Club (Paris), Dimensions and Flow Festival.

Whilst they have called Berlin their home since 2010, our own halls in Canning Town do not feel complete without the presence of @s_ruston. A relationship that began long before we welcomed our first guest; S Ruston has been with us every step of our journey, and now they return to play at RE:SISTANCE 004.

The Bristolian’s natural jungle & drum and bass roots shine through in their music; a sensory overload fully-stocked with rapid, bassy selections and interlaced with old school UK rave. These riotous performances are seen most commonly in the German capital’s sex-positive party scene, with residencies at femme-forward Lecken and clubs Renate and Else, yet they frequently take time to revisit our home in East London, with each occasion cherished.

In 2022, she was selected as one of the new faces of @tresorberlin in Berlin, which saw her play an Electro set in the prestigious cage back in September.
She has also played at the likes of Meraki, Fold + @hoerberlin and she has a well recieved release on highly esteemed Avoidant, the Electro sub label of Soma records under her belt. 

With 5 more releases planned this year on some of her favourite Electro labels aswell as debut shows in Paris this spring, she's set to flourish further in 2023.

Phase Fatale is the Berlin-based techno project of Hayden Payne. Since 2014 the New York native has earned a reputation as a techno innovator, both for the broad spectrum of dystopian, gritty, industrial-laden electronics included in DJ sets as well as his deep understanding of synthesis and sound design in his own productions.

Phase Fatale has been turning heads with his debut album in 2017, and 12”s on labels such as Jealous God, Ostgut Ton, and its sub-label unterton. He has since settled into residencies at both Berghain in Berlin as well as 中 KHIDI in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi.

In 2018, Payne launched his own label BITE, where he introduced Soft Crash - the pi- oneering ‘Italo body music’ project in collaboration with Pablo Bozzi. In 2020, Payne released his second solo album Scanning Backwards on Ostgut Ton, while 2022 saw his third solo album and the widely anticipated debut album by Soft Crash.

Phase Fatale’s output as a selector, as well as his productions and curation on BITE demonstrate Payne’s unique musical vision, drawing from new and classic references: dark ambient drones contrasting with the raw, punchy dynamics of industrial and post- punk, cold wave aesthetics combine with 4/4 techno functionality – all stitched togeth- er meticulously with strong atmospheric sensibilities, careful and precise mixing

With forthcoming releases on Burial Soil, Furatena (which you can hear for the first time in this mix) plus a few top secret projects planned over the coming months, she's set to flourish further in 2023.

The mix is such a perfect representation of what to expect from me if you were to see me playing in a club, it's a mix of old classic Electro mixed with some newer 4x4 sounds.

The Berlin-via-Kyiv artist is a resident of Ukrainian queer event series Verselka and polished her sound from her early days in London to being an integral part of Kyiv's rising scene, curating parties like Outside and Gems at Otel'. Her diverse sets fuse everything from 90's & 2000's influences to classic acid, grooves, electro and beyond. CHP Mix Sessions [007] - EKATA

With his roots deep in the Copenhagen DIY music scene Joachim Palsby aka DJ TOOL has been playing and collecting different music for more than a decade. After many years of playing punk, metal and electronic noise music, he slowly developed an interest in dance music/techno. For years he has been roaming the international dance floors as a loyal dancer and ended up learning the skills of all vinyl Djing. DJ TOOL is a classic example of a Dj that merges directly from the floor to the booth. His sets are authentic and the sound is oldschool, hard and fast but always funky and uplifting. While living in Berlin he met and instantly connected with his Venezuelan partner in crime, Hyperaktivist. Together they decided to create a party with a sound they felt was missing in the Berlin techno scene. Mala Junta is a smaller intimate party with focus on old school, faster and harder techno that is merging in Berlin at the moment. With friends and family in the Dj and party collectives of Copenhagen, Fast Forward Productions, BunkerBauerand Endurance his connection to the underground techno scene of his hometown is still very strong .There is no doubt about that the Berlin based,DJ TOOL is a part of Copenhagen techno and knows where he belongs 

Co-founder and resident at the Copenhagen underground rave series Endurance, Ezy is a techno DJ, producer and a time-served mainstay on the floor as well as in Copenhagen's alternative music underground. Ezy is one of many artists on the city's fast techno scene with a history in the punk scene, and in the four years since he took to electronic music, he has built a reputation for delivering all-vinyl sets of agile, percussive, banging old-school techno. He has played in Germany and Sweden recently, along with a steady stream of gigs in his home city, and is also building towards releasing his own music.
