DJ Shadow was born in Kabala, Koinadugu district, in the northern region of Sierra Leone.
In the late years of the 90's he discovered his musical talent and passion. He started off as being a Disc Jockey for clubs in Freetown and work in a recording label.
Due to the civil war in Sierra Leone, he fled to Banjul, The Gambia to seek refuge.
In the process of settling in a foreign country, he worked in few night clubs & later switched to the most decent & popular night club in Senegambia region & became the head DJ & most popular professional night club DJ. Now he has decided to take his career to another level. Since then, he has been in his studio Shadow Records & other recording labels working on singles. His first album comes in fall 2014
