MANTU - Artbridge - Habischman Remix [Get Physical]

London-based Habischman launches his new label Senses with a superb first single entitled 'Behind Four Walls.' It showcases the artist's complex sound designs and takes you on a vivid musical journey deep into space and time.

Iran-born Habischman has always had a strong concept behind his storytelling music. The cinematic sounds that result have come on labels like SCI+TEC, Knee Deep In Sound, and Fayer and now he steps out with his own carefully curated imprint. Habischman's vision for this label is to convey a digital definition of the five elements of life - water, fire, earth, metal, and wood - and connect them with the listener's own five senses while they are lost in the music on the dance floor.

As well as his own music, Senses will become a platform for unique live shows. Each release will relate to at least one of the five senses, and the first one is fire and heat with red artwork to match. It was written during the lockdown and is about capturing a sense of hope and moving forward from a time when we were all trapped indoors and daunted by the dark days ahead.

'Behind Four Walls' is a moody indie adventure with a spine-tingling vocal. It's brilliantly tender and emotive as it rings out over the mind-bending synth work and crisp, snappy drums. There is a grand cosmic scale and expansive feel to the arrangement that means you get lost amongst it all as the lush melodies twinkle like stars and you journey ever further into space.

This is a fantastic start to what is sure to be a vital new label from Habischman.
