We're back with another episode of ritual practices this time featuring @be-obscene co-founder and resident @JJVVNN from Kassel. Establishing contemporary techno sound with numerous events in and around Kassel since 2014 he and some friends founded 'obscene', a forward-thinking techno event and podcast series back in 2019 curated with a clear vision of sound, design, and aesthetics. As part of a new generation of local techno artists representing the idea of modern, contemporary techno he's heavily inspired by the likes of Oscar Mulero, Exium, Etapp Kyle, Efdemin, Edit Select & Donato Dozzy. Striving for variability, JVN finds his taste in a broad spectrum of techno ranging from minimalistic groove driven material to a more hypnotizing approach as well as raw and pounding tool-ish techno.
His favorite slot is the opening, which is also the most important in his eyes because it offers the possibility to guide the audience from the beginning to the peak of the evening setting their minds for everything following. Convince yourselves and turn your speakers all the way up for JVN's banging trip into the night.

Jannis Maxim is no stranger to the techno scene in southern Germany. The Stuttgart-based DJ is actively pushing his versatile and timeless sound over years. His musical vision is defined by percussive grooves but also emotional depths, which he matchlessly showcased last December at our event at Disco Zwei with an all night long set on the back floor. As a member of Schimmer Records and a resident of the Basislager crew as well as the former club ToY, he is actively contributing to the nightlife culture in the area in and around Stuttgart. Recently, he released his first track on Schimmer Records and there will be more to come production-wise in the future. Keep an eye on him!

Based in Munich, SYLK is a Techno Producer and DJ whose music can be best described as a blend of hypnotic groove and industrial atmosphere. Inspired by dystopian science fiction and urban aesthetics, his music is oriented to deliver rhythmic body movement and deep emotions on dark and sweaty dancefloors.

Driven by warm sounds, fast paced rhythms and old school tunes from the 90's, He began to translate his vision into productions, which also leads the artistic direction of his imprint label SLK.
