Carlos.00000000001’s new single is both slow and fast—a mix of improbable elements, twisting time, shifting through different atmospheres, and transforming fluidly. Driven by a spiky beat with tinges of footwork and IDM, it’s, as expected from the Santiago-based artist, an exploration of styles and expressions where nothing is quite what it seems.

With Thumpin' Acid, Lucile Cordova makes the leap from DJ revelation from the south of France to techno producer with a voice of her own. The track is an acid and dark punch straight to peak time, with nods to nineties rave but a fiercely current energy. Her acid techno is not retro or nostalgic, but urgent. The production has a rawness that feels physical, almost tactile; a pulse that does not falter and that hypnotizes with the insistence of someone who comes from the bowels of the electronic underground.

Thumpin' Acid

One of the founders of the RITM00 collective, in the flourishing electronic music scene of Santiago, Asttrev is a distinctive figure in the underground circuit. Her sets are always explorations of different moods and genres, with strong connections to the undocumented, albeit deeply influential Chilean Trance scene.
