Hi friends. Ummm... here is the long awaited public release of my Remix War VIII submission that I virtually finished 11 months ago. Since then I bumped up the BPM a little and cleaned up the mix but yeah... my bad. I've been considering tacking on a trap drop for the longest time but I can't find the motivation to follow through. 

I'd like to formally dedicate this track to Blueshift as well as everyone else who has pressured me to get my works into a public venue as I have seemingly increased difficulty in doing so.

Shouts out to mylittleremix.com for organizing these events. I think it's evident how little music I put out of my own initiative.

Initially composed for the original 32H, I couldn't figure out a way to patch everything together in a coherent enough way before the deadline. But some filtered breaks and guitar fills ultimately helped do the trick.

Couple amusing developments in this track: in addition to it being the first to feature a little bit of guitar actually performed by me, it's also the first time I've made kicks outside of Reason. I actually used NI's Razor (as opposed to PH's Malström) but I wouldn't recommend it lol. Massive or Serum are far better solutions if you're not using a dedicated kick/909 synth. But yeah, not a xmas track but it's always a blast to participate in the Pinkamena Party projects. Cheers.

i suppose this song constitutes my first attempt at what you'd call "real dubstep"—by which i mean dubstep that isn't 80% supersaws—pretty much ever. nevertheless, all the sound design is my own, so i hope all that didn't go to badly (:

obvious inspiration (and main melody) from the LEGO universe pirate camp theme—in fact, this entire track is kind of a tribute to it, and as such long overdue, as i have many a fond memory of hearing the original composition back in 2011 or so. from those days on i've always wished such a remix existed, and now i could finally make it myself, and that means a lot to me lol.

Three years of work culminates in a story filled with buttons, dolls, a toy box, envy, hatred, fear, bitterness, monsters, a mirror, a labyrinth and a confused pony named Eleanor. 
In her musical adventure you'll come across house, UK garage, breakbeat, and probably a great deal of self-loathing. I hope you enjoy. 

In addition to the overarching theme of this album, each track here is designed to stand up by itself (except for the intro and intermission) and be self contained in it's own sound and meaning. 

It's far from perfect, rough around the edges, but this is the most personal & hardest project I've ever worked on, and I really hope it was worth the weight to you guys.
