In 2023, the rain stopped me from playing on the Maxa deer - not this year, and to make it even more special, my set was during Man burn. If you have been to the man burn, you know that this is a very special moment. Every art car gathers around the man to see it burn down. It’s an emotional time, the energy is intense, even dark. The man is the central reference of the playa, and once down, chaos surrounds the flames.

When I climbed into the deer, I saw the Maxa family emotional, hugging, celebrating the end of a long week with each other. I was excited, this was a moment I was looking forward to. Once on top of the car, surrounded by the crew, I decided to play an emotional set, more of a soundtrack to the moment than a dance party. The man burnt exactly at minute 25, I hope you like it. 🙏🏻

I attended Ondalinda x Careyes this year and.. wow. The music, the art, the natural environment, the beaches, the local community.. everything was amazing = 0

I also subscribe to these two life lessons:

1) Always be prepared
2) Make your own luck

Ondalinda is a pretty magical place and very much my vibe, but I'm not yet to a point in my DJ career where I would normally get booked for it. However... always be prepared : )

In this case case I was carrying around a USB with rekordbox'd music on it and made my own luck by setting the intention that I was going to find a time to play music. And i did!

While getting ready on Friday night for the White Party, the caretakers of Samadhi Camp had setup a full sound system(including CDJs) for all us yurt campers : ) We had become friends with them earlier and was able to jump on the decks and play an hour+ set for everyone there preparing for their night. 

It was such a blast to get to perform this for Samadhi Camp crew, and I hope you all enjoy as well : )

I recorded this @ Dr. Pong in Berlin the night after our Adventure[s] party at SchwuZ.  An ex-pat friend of mine loves Dr. Pong and hooked me up to play some tunes. Well, 4 hours later this was my set : ) I then dashed off to join another dance party @ Crackers till early morning (Berlin, your music scene is amazing).

I had a great time @ Dr. Pong, reminded me of the 2000s Brooklyn scene. Shout out to everyone that danced and hung out during the night. Here’s to next time!!

Austin was amazing.. wow! Our Mystikal Misfits crew came together to throw an epic circus-themed dance party and it did not disappoint. I have so much gratitude for finding people who love music and like to live life to its fullest, and that we can all throw crazy parties together : )

This set is 2 hours of new disco house and nudisco tunes, with a little but of tech house thrown in at the end to keep the energy up. Hope you enjoy!

My last set of the burn capped off an amazing and wonderful adventure, including an engagement to my wondeful partner!

This was the opening set from The Mystikal Misfits post-man burn party on saturday night. We had a fire 6-hour party featuring lots of fire, naked people, and lots of impromptu drummers. Take a listen to an hour of full-on disco and funky dance party vibes.

The Booty Hunter dome is always a blast; intimate vibes, great friends, lots of dancing, and strong-ass drinks from the booty bar. This year exceeded expectations and was the most fun with a full on disco house throw down. 

Many thanks to my misfits and booty hunter crew alike for representing this year. I had a blast on decks and it looked like everyone did on the dancefloor as well. This one gets a little harder/booty shaking towards the end, featuring some tracks i haven’t played before.

On The Hunt With Camp Booty Hunters // Disco & Booty House // Burning Man 2019

The Mystikal Misfits NYC family is small but mighty! Together about 10 of us put together a disco hallway at the Knockdown Center for 9 hours of house, disco, and some weird late night adventures ; )

This was recorded 1am-4am and shutdown basically all of DeCom. Overall, NYC Decom crushed it this year; the space was warm, welcoming, and weird. It felt like home, and I so so appreciated everyone that came through to boogey down to our disco house all night. 

This mix starts out with about 90 mins of my signature disco house sound, then transitions into a little more of the harder, booty house sounds, then meanders for about 45 mins through deep playa tracks and some more tribal and ethereal beats --its a wonderful little journey : )
