Raised in the countryside but with a peculiar unblemished urban flow, rapper Haem-O lays his pleasantly invigorating rhymes on melodic trap, capturing young and old ears with his well crafted messaging. The hip hop artist made waves in 2018 when he released the hustler's anthem "I wanna be rich remix" featuring the talented award winning superstar Emtee.
Influenced by genres such as kwaito, raggae, country, maskandi and later on hip hop ( as well as being a lead singer in a church choir and doing choral music in primary and high school), Haem-O began writing songs at the age of 11 but it was only until after high school that he got a chance to get in a recording studio and put down his first ever record. He then moved to Johannesburg where he started properly working on his craft. After recording on unofficial instrumentals, he finally recorded his debut single "Put it all in God's hands" featuring the amazing vocalist Hazel, that single was produced by KnifeBeatz. That single was remixed by over 20 different artists, including the award winning dance hall star Buffalo Souljah, and Zambian hip hop artist Ice Queen. He released "Turn Up" which got him performing across the country. Haem-O released "O.A.D" which got him on national radio, the later on "Oh Man" which was then followed by "I wanna be rich". Haem-O has released his latest singles "Fast Car" and "BIS" which are leading up to the release of his debut EP titled "Country Boy" which is set to drop some time in 2020.
