Hafiz Huda is a singer/songwriter residing in Seattle, but with roots in the Midwest. He started playing regularly with The Lost Pear, a band that began around 1993. The Lost Pear was a musical partnership with Matt Jaworski of The Mans, which came about during Huda and Jaworski's time in school together. Huda's music is typically rooted in folk and acoustic rock influenced by The Beatles, Neil Finn, Crowded House, Matthew Sweet, The Decemberists, and Duncan Sheik. Though he has been playing and performing locally for years, his first album has yet been released. His home recordings and demos are scattered online, and he hopes to focus on a new collection of songs in 2023.
