This track features Jenn Cornell playing the cello. (http://montanaskiesmusic.com) Jenn's cello composition was inspired by the Indian flute virtuoso, Hariprasad Chaurasia and a sonata of J.S. Bach. (specifically, the second mov't of sonata in Gm for cello and piano.)  The inspiration came together after we both went to hear the amazing Kirtan group Shantala, who further inspired us both with their indian classical instruments. here's a basic rundown of the brains states:

Beta - 30hz-13hz - your normal awake state, in higher ranges or above 30hz you may be experiencing stress. In this case, you gotta chill!

Alpha - 13z-8hz - a relaxed and reflective state

Theta - 8hz-4hz - a very meditative state or getting drowsy and drifting off, if your sleepy)

Delta - 4hz and below - deep sleep or a very deep meditative state. Buddhist Monk's brainwaves have been measured in this state during meditation.

Cello Meditation With 4hz Binaural Beat

I am using two base frequencies of 250.57hz to stimulate pituitary and 390hz for the Pineal glands. Both tones are at a beat frequency of 1.45 Delta waves which is a Tri-thalamic entrainment format. According to Ronald deStrulle, it creates entrainment between hypothalamus, pituitary & pineal. I found this awesome sitar recording by this person named kaiho on freesound.org and decided to use it.
