Hagan follows up his previous releases on Gobstopper, Jamz Supernova's Future Bounce and Python Syndicate with a new EP for Benji B's new London imprint One Level. Forward Focus finds the British-Ghanaian producer exploring new sounds, beyond the Afro-centric Club and Funky rhythms of his work to date.

Influenced greatly by sounds across the world, especially in Africa, Forward Focus is a fusion of sounds and arrangement ideas that creates a stepping stone toward Hagan's further work to come, evolving his unique take on black electronic music to find new and distinctive sounds that know no boundaries.

Rhythm Chronicles is a result of the music I've been exposed to through the dance floors and my personal DJ sets. I've been inspired to explore percussive kits and tech chords with this project allowing to step out of my comfort zone. This is a tribute to dance, music and energy that all form part of a universal language we understand.
