Why Desire?

This rendition of Lennon & McCartney's "I'll be back" - originally released in 1964 on the album, "A Hard Day's Night" - was inspired by John's original idea for the song. A live rehearsal of the Rolling Stones' "Stray Cat Blues", originally released on 'Beggars Banquet' and written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, performed here by Fugue State. Divine presence or Third Man syndrome? This song was inspired by an experience I had in Ghana, in the village of Denu, while sitting in an abandoned boat and watching the full moon above the Atlantic Ocean. In a land that suffered a great trauma, my own trauma was soothed in that moment; humanity has a long way to go.

The Murderous Tiller (DEMO) - Darvill & Hagen

Brent is a musician, singer and songwriter from Texas, currently living in Taiwan.  Brent's appreciation for Taiwanese music is one of the things that brought him to Taiwan. His musical experience ranges from rock to contemporary art music to traditional world music; he grew up with the Beatles (among many others), studied music composition at university and performed with South Indian and African Music ensembles.  His passion, songwriting, incorporates elements of all of these.
