In these sounds, there are no names, no faces, only the decay of memories, in the echo of the depths, the whisper of shadows, the echo of dissolution.
This music is not a path. This music is a net. A woven labyrinth of darkness and light, a ritual that erases you and recreates you. Distorted voices from forgotten rooms, cutting frequencies from distant worlds, a rhythm that beats like a pulse in the nothingness.

Two musicians from Oldenburg (Germany) have been producing together since the summer of 2020. The joint project, Ego Eraser, was launched in the summer of 2023. Their musical journey has been increasingly guided by dark basses and atmospheric sounds. In search of a deeper form of expression, they experimented, reflected, and embarked on a fresh path with new motivation.

The album brings together various styles and elements: Dark, Ritualistic, Psycore, Tekno, SlamTek, Tribal, and atmospheric soundscapes. Analog and digital sound sources merge with FM synthesis, field recordings, and experimental audio modulations.

What would an Ego Eraser release be if they didn’t erase their own ego? For this reason, they donate 100% of their CD proceeds to the Aidshilfe Oldenburg. This is their supportive contribution to raising awareness about Safer Use and promoting accepting drug work.

The cover was painted by the studio landlord, Sebastian Richter, with acrylic paints. When he showed his latest work, it was immediately clear: This image perfectly represents the new musical direction.

A special highlight of the album was the collaboration with Tzytlos, which brought an additional creative layer to the project. The track "Hawaiian Mushroom Soup" emerged from a joint session between the artists. A future collaboration would be more than welcome.
