Due to everyone being so pleased with me putting up a recording of me performing Beethoven's 'Moonlight Sonata', I felt like it would be a nice idea to put up for free download other lovely pieces of music that have been in my performance repertoire over the years. Ce concert est dédié à mes élèves avec un programme composé de pièces illustrant leur parcours instrumental et musical au cours des trois cycles d'étude au conservatoire.
Ce projet a été réalisé en partenariat avec Alexandre Douvry responsable de la Bibliothèque musicale Arlette Sweetman (La BmAS est située dans les locaux du conservatoire de Rungis)

The Chopin Fantaisie-Impromptu is one of those iconic pieces of the classical piano repertoire. It is arguably played too much so why have I added my performance? I think the infinite ways a piece can change in the hands of different musicians is actually very interesting. My version is fast but lyrical and I search for an unexaggerated and natural romanticism and warmth.
