People ask all the time, was there a specific moment or person that motivated you to become a musician? And the answer is yes, absolutely. It really started with my father, he’d play a solo at a gig and immediately transcend to another realm of existence. He would be in his own world, and we were lucky enough to be witness to it. You would look at the people around you and they either watched in awe or swayed back and forth to the melody of his playing. He would reach everyone in the room and convey the emotion he felt through his guitar. It was this earth-shattering wave of energy that shook you to your very core. The ability to convey that level of emotion at such a primal level was intoxicating. It was otherworldly, and I knew from that moment on I wanted to do that too.
