Badman (pronounced that way, with a Jamaican accent) is a word that was originally used in Kingston, Jamaica, in the 1980s ska and in Jamaican dancehall cultures. The word was used to describe an antisocial, illegitimate person, a rebel who was feared by those around him.
After the integration of Jamaican culture with UK culture in the 70s, the word "badman" became widely used in the UK, especially in London and the Southeast.
The words badman and, very rarely, badgirl are also associated with UK music scenes such as jungle, grime, dubstep and sometimes big beat.
Currently, "Badman" is the personification of freedom, strength, independence and passion for all the best. The best clothes, the best food, the best people around. This is all achieved playfully, without any apparent effort, life is lived easily, but far from frivolous. The decisions Badman makes may seem absurd, wild, but inexplicably attractive. Precisely because most blinkered people will never take the step that Badman would take with a grin.

Paperclip and C4 created an apocalyptic release that is steeped in mythology, anachronisms, and tough plot twists.

War Rave - is a track that will break the brain into its constituent components from the first seconds of the drop. An incredible recitative in Russian will cause a storm of emotions, which will have to be controlled under the tremendous pressure of the drums and bass lines. Taste the apocalypse today.

The groove and mood of the track are based on the classic bass stroke that is paired with mid stubs. The vocal rhythmically exactly matches the groove of the track.

Requiem is the opposite composition in terms of storytelling. In it, the story is built on the exponential growth of events. Ultimately, the track offers a choice of 3 emotions: confusion, nervous tension, and anxiety. The vocals in this performance are accelerated almost 2 times.

Taking this one back to the Era Of Diversion days, here's our perennial classic "Dead On Arrival."  

This tune was a tribute of sorts to the webforum http://dogsonacid.com, which played a big part in the drum and bass scene for many years. For those of you who are too young to know about it: Dogs On Acid was a webforum geared towards drum and bass, but ended up more like an information clearing-house and a place where people often acted like pricks under the internet's glorious anonymity, much like many now do on YouTube/Facebook/Reddit.
