The ego trip is an addicting drug. The constant need to share our opinions as facts in order to validate our own self worth can be a dangerous thing. We get addicted to sharing our ideas with hopes that we aren’t challenged by the opposition but merely embraced by people that already feel the exact same way, which make our dealings with the opposition weaker. We become dismissive and inspired by anger when we are challenged and miss great opportunities of truly connecting and changing the world. Pressure makes diamonds, yet so often we want to skip this process on an individual and collective level.
