Hi! My name is Kelly and I sing and play the acoustic guitar. I started playing a bit with my friend Hailey who plays bass but we've only uploaded a cover of "This is Everything" by Tegan & Sara. We have quite the opposite tastes in music-- I'm into mostly folk, alternative, and occasionally hip-hop/pop turned acoustic while Hailey listens to more punk/heavy rock. We try to find a happy medium through artists like The Cranberries, Tegan and Sara, Ladyhawke, and will hopefully write some originals with a style similar to Hiatus Kaiyote. I've uploaded a few covers of myself on acoustic and plan on recording a few originals. The tracks we have posted now were recorded from my phone, with the exception of my original "These Days," which is live at an open mic. I apologize for the poor sound quality; just trying to work with what I've got! Hailey and I have only performed once together at a local open mic, but you can catch me solo on a weekly basis. Hope you like what you hear and stay tuned in case we upgrade to writing more originals and maybe even recording in an actual studio someday rather than basements & bedrooms.
