Hey all, scott here, now, i may not be an RPG guy, but a lot of you, and i mean a lot of you, has been telling me to check out that's right... Undertale. WHAT THE F**K! Released in 2015, Undertale was a kickstarter project and it's fundraising goal of 5,000 dollars, but just the people SMASHED it, actually raising to over 50 thousand dollars, i wish my projects were all like that. But that's not all, undertale was a really unique game, but whatever, i wanna play! let's pop it in and... wait, where's the card? Undertale was a PC Release. Son of a - BUT later down the line, they did release a switch version, (cuts to couch scott) Well, i mean, not better time to play it that i guess now. (yes, i put way too many effort into comments thanks.)

Scott The Woz Theme but it's Megalovania

Knock knock, it’s Polyfield. Today I’m here to showcase the newest track I’ve been working on. If you haven’t looked in the comments of Kill Aura yet, then this will seem like nothing out of the ordinary. However, for those who did, this may appear as a surprise. Allow me to explain myself in greater detail than before. I previously stated that working on Kill Aura for four months straight kind of fatigued me when it came around to making Undertale related content, and that I wanted to slow down Undertale uploads for awhile. However, what I really meant is that, quality may fluctuate with my Undertale tracks, as I’ve grown rather tired of the same general formula, and so I’ve decided to take a more original, experimental, yet still familiar approach with my Undertale content, which is what you’ll be seeing in this track! This is a song with a style inspired by the very talented @bdvaughn, an intense yet emotional take on the Megalovania format, featuring Fire Chungus and Corrupted Chungus. With amazing art done by @ava-fleischman, which has two chungi, one with it’s likeness based off of my good friend, @fire_mario_fan. It's the end.

Part of me wanted to keep this as something that everyone had to listen through the whole album to get to, but I figured that people might enjoy this one on its own. I learned a lot over the course of writing this album, and again when re-recording it, and I like to see this track as a way to show everything that I've learned in that time. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing and playing it.

I just wanted to say thank you again to everyone who stood by me over the years and believed in me through all of this. It's been a long and difficult process, but it was more than worth it.

An Evening with the Underground Symphonic Orchestra is a two-hour symphony/orchestral score based on the work of Toby Fox from the soundtrack of Undertale, reimagined as an orchestral work from Undertale's mix of 16-bit-ish and MIDI sounds and arranged into an imaginary film score. Undertale is one of my favourite games of all time and has one of the most intelligently-written soundtracks that I know, so this is the least that I can do to pay tribute to a game that means so much to me. The full album saw its official release in May 2022.
