Raul Ivalo is the latest incarnation in one man's journey through the electronic underground. Raul Ivalo's history in Finnish music scene started in the end of 90s. He has moved through various genres, 
organized both underground and legal events and played under different artist names all around Finland and also in UK, Russia and Poland. Raul Ivalo's sound is techno, with a twist of darkness and a treshold dose of melody.

техник is a project for searching extraordinary sounds and combining them into music unheard. Mixing is the key element - armed with vinyls and lately also digital, техник digs up the past and travels from the future, only to pursue passionately the momentum of freedom on the floor in present times. техник is about not wanting to get stuck into playing just one kind of techno, but rather finding curiosities by occasionally mixing in other genres like noise, drone and bass music. Techno is a really broad genre and so it should be. Long live the legacy of Detroit.
