Inspired by the long times of wait fishermen had to endure on their pearl-diving trips; Men chanting and percussion beats mixed with the sounds of the sea.

Hiwar is Dialogue in Arabic, and this was an initiative by Zahed Sultan while on his residency in Heart of Sharjah. Local musicians participated on this jam session were visiting Palestinian artist Husam Abed on percussion, founder of Dafa Puppet Theatre, and a synth player whose name I can't recall. The German lady who did the Spoken word poetry was attending the session and she graciously shared her piece with us. The mix is dominated by my guitar because the session was recorded by an iPhone that was on the amp.
