When we were figuring out what sound we wanted to put out, we almost instantly leaned toward drawing inspiration from the likes of Madlib and MF DOOM since anything from Stones Throw usually rocks us to our core, so we wanted to venture into something similar to that underground feel and still have our signature styles to it.
