MY RATING: 9/10
I don't think my own rating of my covers will ever exceed 9/10 so this one is right at the top. Very happy with it! I think the slow version suits this song better than the original and really draws out the lyrics. This one has almost 60.000 views on Facebook and overwhelmingly positive comments. For which I'm very grateful :) 
Although I've always liked this Harrison song, there are many he wrote that I haven't been keen on. One of the very pleasant surprises of this journey is that all of the ones I have covered so far, that are written by him, have without exception surprised me as I've started playing and singing them. There is always something quite beautiful hidden in them. Having said that, as of this writing, I'm not into the dreadful Indian period :p :) So we'll see...

Original recorded on 11-12th Sept. 1963. Written while ill in a bed in a Bournemouth hotel during The Beatles' residency at the local Gaumont in August 1963 and Harrison's first original song. The song never received positive reviews though.

MY RATING: 8/10
Who knew that one of the most boring and pointless of songs could be this pretty!? It certainly took me by surprise :) Yes, it still is fairly dissonant and un-orthodox, but there is definitely some beauty in there. I think so at least. Am quite happy with this version :)

Original was recorded and mixed on 13th-14th Feb. and 19th-21st Apr. 1967 and 29th Oct. 1968, and, understandably, only released almost two years after the original takes on 17th Jan. 1969 (UK). Universally hated, both by producer George Martin and the other Beatles, this track was rejected for the Sgt. Pepper album and put along with other rejects on the Yellow Submarine album. Harrison bitterness at its best. Written as a "joke" to fulfill his contractual obligations to Northern Songs, the publishing company set up by Dick James, and part-owned by Lennon & McCartney, to which Harrison was resentfully signed as a songwriter.
