There was originally no episode planned in May - you know, bookings, exam season, a lot of precarious work... Then, out of nowhere, Brno well known figure Adamovia sent me the mix, which I did not expect from him. In my head, I saw this Schwarzwald's cute guy oscillating between classic club 4/4 genres and some darker ghetto and electro things. And though there are still some reminiscences of that sort, the thought was mainly not up to date: Adam has been reorienting himself recently towards that current bass, percussive, psy and broken riddims based sound that originally got me behind the CDJs myself. Thus, I could not leave this just in the dropbox link in our DMs. In his Contra stare takeover, Adamovia departs from this practice, effectively rotating in circles through particles of Latino club, UK culture sound structures and vocals, and trance-infused strict synths and kicks. All of these traditions flow in the 2h long mix, which will not make you bored in any part of it. And so, before we introduce my very special guests in the June edition of Contra stare, dive with us into the show's eight part representing again the best of the Brno scene right now.
