Hailing from Ghent, Belgium, Asa Moto is the dynamic electronic music duo of Oliver “Oli” Geerts and Gilles Noë—a pairing forged in 2012 that has since become one of the most inventive forces on the continent’s club circuit.

Signed to Soulwax’s DEEWEE label, they blend analog synths, voice, funk and uncanny grooves into a sound both club-potent and artistically bold. Through acclaimed EPs like Martino and an ever-evolving live show, they invite you to dance differently—together.

November see's the pair return to the imprint with a new EP called 'Music For Disc Jockeys Pt.1'.

This mix is a tour de force if you will, they cram 82 tracks into one hour and somehow manage to make that make sense. We have no idea how they've managed it but somehow in a precariously bonkers fashion... it works.

Trigger

Of the small group of bands now emerging out of Luxembourg, Hal Flavin may be the most individual yet.

What you get is an edgy rock band, grit, dirt and all, who hang their stage with a futuristic dangle of cables, effects and finery, as if prepared for some strange ritual of the soul. 
The blood flowing through those jacks and data chips seems pumped from the Indie and Electro-roots of their teens, with live energy to match. 
And if references are not music to your ears - once you get hooked on one of their pop-driven melodies, you'll be all fired up... with no questions asked.

Hal Flavin was founded in 2007 by indie-punk musicians busy with installation art and stage scores, soon to be completed by two pure-blood groove lovers on bass and drum. Since the release of their first EP, 'The Talk', they write and produce as a four-piece and have shared the stage with Metronomy, Delphic, Kraftwerk and Does It Offend You Yeah, to name but a few. 

Sounds like: Interpol & Kraftwerk meet Bat for Lashes on Mutemath's favourite UFO landing spot in Sherwood Forest.
