Vivid Dreams is the next single in a collection of tracks I created during the beginning of the global pandemic of 2020. Ethereal vocal sample and pulsating bass and drums power this vibe, blended with a chewy wall of synths and shimmering rhodes. With this track, I tried to redirect all the tension and hopelessness I was feeling about the global situation into something warm, nostalgic, and positive.

A project originally completed in June of 2020. There was never a specific reason as to why I made this match between Erykah B*du & MF D**M. It was just my love for two Black Visionaries, and like The Marvel comic "What If..?", I wanted to know "Since Madlib & Dilla collaborated with Badu, how would it sound with The Supervillain as well?".
