Colombia is in a state of emergency. For many years, we have been victims of the oppression and corruption inflicted by a State that doesn’t care about the well-being of its people, people who have recently awakened due to the excessive abuse caused by the different reforms (tax, health) the current government has planned to implement in our country.
In the protests that began on April 28th, as a show of inconformity towards the State leaders, many Colombians have been injured, and even murdered, by the use of excessive force the military and the ESMAD (riot police) have engaged in.
Therefore we have decided to curate this V.A. as "name your price" along with international artists to recollect funds destined to support front line activists that are putting their lives at stake for the freedom of our people. All profit will be donated to Red Condor Collective.

Torn Relics : Burning Injustice [IOD052] 

'Burning Injustice', the second album by Torn Relics, weaves mythical and futuristic elements of an unknown world. Haunting, visceral and diverse in production styles, the duo continues to pave their own musical territory. 

This album was written between 2017 - 2021, in which the music produced reflects the decay of the political and social landscape in the UK, from the Brexit divide to covid isolation. This music serves as antidote in these turbulent times. 

Torn Relics are an experimental electronic duo based in London, composed of Romek Boyer (AKA Rommek) & Aimée Mullen. The body of their work is a mixture of cyber-punk electronics with tribalistic violin, rhythms and tones. Their debut EP, The Poisoned Chalice, was released on Sacred Court in 2019 and included a remix from SNTS. Abolish The Dogma, the duos debut 8-track album was released in 2020 on Leyla records, which showcases the diversity of their production styles.

The well-known artists create a mix of post-punk and synthesizer electronics shaped by their uncompromised textures, that glides through genres with ease and combines modern style with retro goodness. An abstract style of contamination seldom seen within the modern music spectrum.

The Deutsch Italo- Griechisch duo offers us an immersive, futuristic and solid sound, inspired by the music which the two artists grew up with, following a natural evolution to their roots in post-punk, electronic and guitar music.
