so there's a backstory here. I discovered this song in 2016, and it is still my favorite song. It was one of the first songs to give me confidence in my voice. I've done covers of it before but this was the first time I sang and felt like it was a "haley" cover not me doing an Amy Winehouse impression. Anyway, this may be more for me than you but I hope you like it too!

we all experience rejection: from a job, from friends/significant others, and/or the worst: from ourselves. and it's even worse because those thoughts always follow you until you believe it. this song I think touches so many people because it reminds us all to reject THOSE thoughts and listen to the truth in HIS word. we all preach to be our cheerleader, but we're forgetting about the biggest one that never leaves: our GOD!
