This piece is a section of a longer generative improvisation. I started on the iPad and finished on PC. I used Audiobus, Ableton Live & native devices, 4Pockets Euclidean, Cem Olcay's Binarythmic & ScaleBud2, Audio Damage Fuzz Plus 3 & Fluid, iZotope Ozone 9, iZotope Exciter & Imager, Bleass Monolit & Delay, Moog Animoog, Igor Vasilev's Altispace, Bram Bos' Rozeta LFO.

This piece is an attempt to work to two briefs simultaneously, so halF colourlesS is both a haiku interpretation and an arc of drone ... Enjoy! ☺️ I think there could/should be a longer version to really get into the dronosity ... As for a few recent tracks, this makes heavy use of the wonderful Sumu synth from Madrona Labs ...

These drone was recorded today Thursday 5th December 2024 in a 3 hours session. I recorded 3 instances of OB-X and 3 of OB-E software synths by Gforce (just bought them 5 days ago) @gforce-software
It starts with an OB-E bass, then one OB-X synth pad and gradually the rest of the synths start joingin the drone party to make things more dense and 
Gradually the first "tame" drone is left alone to resume this brief demo.
Hope you like the sound of these synths, but the other demos I'm working (rhythmic stuff, with the DMX I also bought) are much better to show the Oberheim potential.

Organ loops made with a broken casio and played through bone conduction speakers. The speakers were used to vibrate the mesh covering from an a/c fan. Extra layers of nail violin. All recorded with contact mics. No effects, just EQing.

Two Csound instruments intertwine to shape this composition. The first instrument, a trio of oscillators, generates a sonic tapestry, enriched by a flanging effect achieved through a cross-modulated random vibrato. A second instrument acts as both a mixer and a spatializer, while a subtle ring modulation, created by a passing cross-feedback, underpins the piece. The composition revolves around a minimalist drone, centered on the notes C# and B.
