The Zeigarnik Effect or "anxiety for the unfinished" is a human condition experimented when we have something to be finished. Memories and attention are then enhanced, although this effect is controversial from the scientific point of view.

I remixed Buzzing Beyond Abstraction Cactus Flower by Persisting Hexagonal Cloud Pattern by adding vocals, a beat and drowning everything in reverb (think pancakes with lots of sirup).

Disquiet0594 - Buzzing Beyond Martin Remix

This track was inspired by the Disquiet Junto Project 0595 (details see below): I used a second-hand dictaphone to create a fieldrecording of the ventilation in our toilet. Then I built parallel tracks by applying different filters and a resonator to this recoding. Nothing else was added.

Making use of two files from Marcus Fischer: 600_nacre_voit-mfischer.wav (which begins and ends the track) and 600_PSU_stairs-mfischer.wav. Each was used with the max/msp nn~ object, with AI models of a human voice and sounds from NASA.
