Hold me tight

Many people still believe strongly in religion however I'm quite the opposite. I think they largely insult the truth and still convince most people to follow them through fear and limiting people's outlook on the universe. The day we accept that and move on from them will be a good day for us all. At the very least I feel we need to evolve them to spiritual based docrines that are based on actual truth and to do that they need to align with actual science and modern discovery otherwise they will just be the divisive conflict causing truth limiters they have been for thousands of years keeping people living in the past!

Maga and the US christian right are currently showing everyone how detached from reality they are and they put their faith in a person as far away from supposed christian beliefs and moral standards as you could possibly get in Trump, yet they still want to cling to that old psychology so much they choose to support him because he tells them he's on their side. Its the same pattern throughout modern history christians will move the goal posts to try and survive in the real world instead of accepting a reality that's actually real and moving on with everyone else. All religions have the same protectionist mindset and it's poison for this beautiful planet plain and simple




Shame on you

In the name of truth you say
Yet molest our young like worthless prey
Aligned with fascist iron fist desires
For your secret truth bore anti-semetic mire
Oppress non believers in the name of your God
You give free reign to new political fraud
In the name of the truth you say
Yet your bible lies from page to page

We cannot be gay your doctrine say
That makes us beast in your truth way
Your words of protection have killed millions
No contraception aids dead civilians
We are born in sin says your brain bin
Our innocent beings untrained begin
In the name of truth your doctrine say
Shame on you and your mindless way

Half our people are the wrong sex
Fine women are still second class oppressed
You seed fake power in your fake reality
All for belief in unprovable insanity

You move the posts to try and fit in
You hold the reigns but grip is wearing thin
The truth evolved everyday
Your truth is stuck weak control dismay
You have nothing left of credit here
Your lies too deep and mindsets unclear
You make our evil and teach with fear
Bring on the day when religion's not here

A lightning bolt  ( Naviarhaiku 337 )

I attempted to mix some synths playing harmonic and melodic elements with various field recordings and effects. I also employed a traditional Japanese scale (called in, related to the phyrgian mode). The mix didn't gel quite as I'd hoped but the overall impression I was going for is there.

Naito Joso was a Japanese poet in the Edo period and a student of Matsuo Bashō. His works were published posthumously in 1750 in the book Jōsō hokkushū (collection of hokku by Jōsō).
