Lyrically the song is fueled by momentum, it's an echo of our generation and the cultural, constant desire for more.

With the help of industry maestro Jez Coad (protégé of Bob Clearmountain) on production, 'Start It Up' has been crafted at a steady pace that's constantly on the front-foot. Creating a space that allows the melody to weave whilst the poetry freely cruses over the record.

With a head nod to the 80s and a contemporary kick to the boll*cks, this record was predominantly inspired by R&B, Disco and Rock. We call it Rock and Soul.
