The focus will be MUSIC. All kinds, and a lot of it. 

To give you a taste of what it will sound like, I'm preparing a series of mixes.

SaPu may seem like a fresh face, but his extensive experience speaks volumes about his deep roots in the underground house music culture. Having spent years as an event organizer and booker, SaPu played a pivotal role in curating unforgettable gatherings showcasing esteemed artists such as Roger Gerressen, Makam, and Chris Mitchel. Drawing inspiration from the pulsating energy of Berlin's underground scene, SaPu embarked on a journey back to the Netherlands before reemerging in Berlin's nocturnal landscape, armed with a newfound record label, Rhythm By Nature. Besides his newborn record label, he also played at substantial venues such as Griesmuehle, Golden Gate, Perron, and Tresor already. Over more than 15 years, SaPu has gathered an extensive record collection as a vinyl-only DJ. There is nothing that he loves more than bringing these sounds to the dancefloors. 

Rhythm By Nature proudly presents its inaugural release, "Shake Two EP", now available, with Nail's track already in circulation. SaPu has skillfully crafted a Dub Mix of the B1, enhancing the diversity of this debut. Furthermore, in May, SaPu will unveil his eagerly awaited solo EP on RBN, featuring an electrifying Tripmastaz Remix. Exclusive previews of these tracks are available upon request, offering a glimpse into the innovative soundscapes SaPu has meticulously curated. Additionally, SaPu recently contributed to a podcast for the Trickpony and the Spclnch crew, showcasing his unparalleled talent and versatility. From countryside calm to cosmic dancefloor calls, Manata digs for nuggets of gold - both musical and metaphysical. Having grown from small-town gigs in central Portugal to sunrise closings on Berlin’s Hoppetosse and label showcases in Brooklyn, João Manata's journey is one shaped by persistence, dusty grooves, and a Fantom 06 that rarely leaves his side. The DJ/producer’s story isn’t one of overnight buzz, but of careful curation, endless digging, and a love for records that started with Stevie Wonder and unexpectedly found its way to ‘90s Trance gems.

Now with the launch of his new label Red Beryl Records – a spiritual successor to his Nugs On Board imprint – Manata revisits the past to shape the future, uncovering unheard treasures from decades gone by. “Since Nugs is all about precious gems, I got the idea for Red Beryl after doing a small research about rare stones… it’s one of the rarest minerals on Earth,” he explains. 

In this candid and wide-ranging interview, Manata opens up about vinyl-fueled upbringings, the early Lisbon hustle, hazelnut cookies in the studio, and the joy of seeing a dancefloor respond to a long-forgotten Belgian trance record from 1995.

“For me, producing or playing music is like telling a story. I love to get vocal samples from old movies or NASA space journeys and build my tracks around that.”

We continue our love affair with Asia with another South Korean artist stepping up, and this time we present the talents of Young Sun. Not just being your average selector, Young is resident DJ at Seoul’s Teller nightclub, and he regularly welcomes top-flight artists to spin with him, and these have included Raphael Carrau, Ika and Usherenko, Dojo Zone, LVCA, Penelope, Poggio, Lamalice, Alex Dima, Alexia Glensy, the list goes on and on. The Anecdote collective founder has also been making his way across Europe during the Spring / Summer months with dates at Outcast Torino, Dias De Campo, Spook Club in Valencia, and quite a few more.

This bright selector and in-demand artist does not disappoint with his mix of our InSession series as he winds his way through a finely told sonic story. Being able to tell a tale inside just under 70 minutes is a skill in itself, but when its done in the way that Young Sun has it is clear why the Teller resident is so highly prized. Maintaining a deep emotion while building up through deep, hazy house, West Coast tech-house, and tripped-out moments is yet another skill in Young’s locker. One for those long, hot summer nights.
